How to Clean Meat

When bringing meat from the market, it's important to clean it before cooking. A common practice is to clean it with vinegar, as it does wonders in removing bacteria, odors, and impurities. It also enhances flavor. Vinegar contains acetic acid that slightly reduces surface bacteria, but it does not eliminate harmful pathogens like Salmonella and E. Coli.
